Any ideas on how to get the card to stop acting this way? Even when I use another device to give the desktop internet, the TP-Link card seems to be blocking out the signal. So it seems like the TP-Link card must be the source of the problem. The weird thing is: I tried using the laptop to give the desktop internet before - without uninstalling the TP-Link device - and it still didn't work. Then I reinstalled the device and turned off the laptop, and it stopped working again. Then I tried using the internet on the desktop with an ethernet cable connected to a laptop that was picking up the wifi.
